Our Process

The Acc-U-Rite Tax Process

Due to the ongoing pandemic, for 2022 we will be utilizing a HYBRID model of in-person tax preparation OR a drop-off process. 

We absolutely love doing tax returns while you are sitting at our desks.  The ability to ask questions and have a conversation during the tax return has been the cornerstone of our business since the 1950's.  As such, we are returning to our in-person tax preparation process that has worked for so many decades. However, with the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to roll on into it's third year and new variants popping up every so often, we know that some of our clients will want to minimize contact to protect their own health or the health of a loved one.  As such, we will continue to offer the drop-off tax preparation process.  

In-Person Process

Come on in anytime during our open hours and check in at the front desk. You'll be put on our waitlist which can be seen in real-time on our T.V. in our lobby. You can then have a seat and will be asked to begin filling out the Client Checklist. (You can avoid having to do this at the office by filling out our Client Checklist available 'HERE', printing it off, and bringing it with you). Once you are next in line, our next available preparer will call you to begin working on your return!

Drop-Off Process

Come on in anytime during our open hours and check in at the front desk. At that time, the front staff will take your name, number, and other pertinent information to complete your drop off. You will be asked to fill out the Client Checklist before you leave. (You can avoid having to do this at the office by filling out our Client Checklist available 'HERE', printing it off, and bringing it with you). You can then leave your paperwork with us and know that we will work on your return as soon as we are able. Drop-offs are done on a first-come, first-served basis so make sure to drop yours off early! Once our preparers have worked on your return, they will call you with pertinent questions needed to finish your return, or they will call to let you know that it is all done and ready for you to sign/pick-up!

**Please note that if you are going to request a specific preparer to either do your in-person or drop-off return, your wait time will most likely be longer than our average wait time. However, you are absolutely more than welcome to continue requesting your preparer to do your return! To ensure that your preparer is available that day for in-person returns, please call ahead and ask. Thank you!**
